Cyber threats to state agencies of Azerbaijan down by 37%

In January-May of this year, the State Service for Special Communication and Information Security identified 366 Indicators of Compromise (IoC) against state agencies.

According to Report’s calculations on the basis of the data of the state service, this is 37% less than the indicator of a year ago.

A total of 196 cyber threats were identified and blocked based on an internal investigation, and 170 on the basis of investigation of incidents received from government agencies.

During the reporting period, 386,415,000 malicious links were blocked on the AzStateNet network, 1,954,900 malicious electronic documents were blocked through the central antivirus system installed on end users, and 139,502 malicious electronic documents were blocked through the Sandbox protection system.
