Baku. 9 June. REPORT.AZ/ Authors of “Eventwex” (Electronic Ticket System – Event Web Express) project, which is one of the residents of Baku Business Factory (BBF), paid a visit to Germany from May 8 to June 2.

Parvin Amirov, Founder and CEO of the project, told Report.

According to P.Amirov, the visit was organized by the Baku Business Training Center and German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ): "In frames of "Joint Azerbaijani-German program on qualification growth of managers of business community of Azerbaijan", we were invited to the contest held for the purpose of participation of owners and managers in 1-month course of qualification growth on economic corporation in Germany in 2017. Within the framework of the visit, the German government created conditions for our contact with potential customers, partners in the country. For example, we are in Munich, while potential customers in Berlin, Frankfurt and other cities. GIZ assumed all costs regarding our visit and stay there. I'd like to express my gratitude to GIZ for the conditions established. Everything was organized at a high level. Also, I'd like to thank BBF and Mrs. Malahat, Project Curator at the Baku Business Training Center. Representatives of 18 Azerbaijani companies, including us took part regarding the project. Advantage of the visit was that we collected information on the German market and have already decided to register a company there and enter the European market.

“Eventwex” Founder stated implementation of the project from 2013 and cooperation with a number of authorities in Azerbaijan: “Eventwex” is a system which combines 7-8 software. Electronic Ticket System is a universal solution, including all stages such as ticket creation, ticket selling and ticket checking. Tickets can be ordered through “Eventwex” by several means, such as via internet, mobile application, Facebook page, electronic payment kiosks and boxing-offices. Ticket checking may be carried out by mobile application, hand scanners, ticket barrier scanners and computer webcams. Heydar Aliyev Center, Gala Ethnographic Museum, Marionette Theater and kassir.az website are among our customers. We have also carried out ticket sales of Baku Jazz and Zhara festivals". 

P.Amirov said that over 1 mln tickets have been sold to customers so far over the presented system: "It is gratifying that more than 1 mln tickets have been sold so far over our system. On average, about 2500-3000 tickets have been sold per day. System security is provided at very high level. We comply with the requirements of “Millikart” and “Azərikart” processing centers in regard with electronic payments. Also, safety requirements of Visa and MasterCard are also observed.

“Eventwex” official said that stress-tests have been conducted to check maximum processing capability of the system: "At present, we have no rival, however, our customers have competitors. We have carried out stress-test of the system and I'd like to add that 5 Olympic ticket sales can be organized through "Eventwex” at the same time, which means nearly 5-10 mln tickets".

Speaking about innovations, P.Amirov stressed possibility of issuance of promo codes to the customers: "At current stage, we are working on the works of motivation nature. Especially, works are underway on promo codes. Event organizer may develop a promo code for any event and present to customer. Currently, more than 80 of this type of innovations tabled and we are involved in their implementation".
