Azercosmos boosts satellite services exports by nearly 50%

Azerbaijan's Azercosmos space agency exported $17.4 million worth of satellite telecommunications services in January-August this year, nearly 50% more than in the same period of 2025.

According to Report, the figures were included in the September edition of the Export Review published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

During the eight-month period, around 95 companies from 36 countries imported Azercosmos' satellite telecommunications services. The number of importing countries was five lower than a year earlier.

The United Kingdom was the largest export destination at $2.8 million, followed by Luxembourg with $2.1 million, Türkiye with $874,700, Pakistan with $776,500 and Tanzania with $437,200.

Azercosmos' export revenues accounted for 61% of its total revenues during the reporting period, down from 66% a year earlier.

In August alone, Azercosmos exported $2.2 million worth of satellite telecommunications services, approximately 47% more than in August 2025.
