Azercosmos to provide satellite services to Africa

A cooperation agreement was signed between the Space Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (Azercosmos) and the Swiss company Signalhorn, Report informs citing Azercosmos.

According to the contract, Signalhorn will serve Azerspace-1 customers from the African region via C-band.

“Our collaboration with Signalhorn will further strengthen our position in the African region. Our innovative, reliable and flexible solutions will pave the way for new projects,” said Mark Guthrie, Chief Commercial Officer of Azercosmos.

“The new agreement will ensure continued cooperation between the two companies, and the number of users of the Azerspace-1 satellite in Africa will increase,” said Signalhorn Chief Commercial Officer Nigel Gibson.

Signalhorn has over 40 years of global experience in providing network services and communications solutions.
