To date, 52% of the liberated Azerbaijani territories are provided with mobile Internet, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev said at the scientific-practical conference “Karabakh: A New Panorama of the South Caucasus Opening to the World,” organized by the New Azerbaijan Party, Report informs.
“This is a very high figure. From 1998 to 2016, we managed to provide the mobile network throughout Azerbaijan (excluding the occupied territories) by 95%. But in a short time, we got a result of 52%. This is a great success, and we will continue to work with both landline and mobile networks,” he said.
