Azerbaijan sees growth in value of services in ICT sector

Information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan delivered services worth just over 1.618 billion manats ($951.7 million) in the initial six months of 2024, representing a 12.2% year-on-year growth, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
The non-state sector accounted for 83.7% of the income generated in this sector, while the population contributed 74.5%.
In June alone, the value of services provided by information and communication enterprises reached 298 million manats (approximately $175.3 million), reflecting a 6.3% increase from the previous month and a 14.2% rise compared to the same period in 2023.
