Azerbaijan may fully electronicize budget process

Tahir Mirkishili, chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee for Economic Policy, Industries and Enterprising, proposed full electronicization of the state budget process in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

He once again mentioned the importance of first improving the Unified Budget Classification and structurally complete electronicization of budget planning in order to facilitate the control and analysis of the budget structure:

"It is also an essential and irreplaceable tool in terms of transition to result-based budgeting and monitoring the implementation of set goals. Our observations show that the human factor is decisive in this process, causing many technical involuntary errors. Eliminating these errors will have a direct positive result on the effectiveness of the economic policy."
