A Cybersecurity Operations Center could be established in Azerbaijan with Israeli support.
Report informs, citing the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, that the issue was discussed during a meeting between the Agency Chairman Farid Osmanov and the leadership of the Checkpoint organization during his working visit to Israel.
The parties also considered the possibilities of establishing a cybersecurity academy in Azerbaijan and implementing Checkpoint's advanced technological solutions, expanding the company's activities in the country, and deepening cooperation through local partnerships.
At the same time, the delegation evaluated the opportunities for cooperation with the leadership of the OurCrowd platform, one of Israel's leading venture funds, in the implementation of joint investment projects, the transfer of advanced technologies to Azerbaijan, as well as the exchange of experience and knowledge between startups.
During the visit, cooperation opportunities in line with Azerbaijan's digital transformation and innovation agenda were also extensively discussed with the leadership of Mobileye, one of the global leaders in autonomous driving and artificial intelligence technologies.
