Azerbaijan launches web portal to stimulate production of foodstuffs

Baku. 10 November. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan creates an electronic portal "Demand of purchasing companies in food." Report informs referring to the Information Technology Centre (ITC) of the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies, the main purpose of the portal, created by "Procurement and supply of food products" OJSC with technical support from ITC, it is to stimulate the production of foodstuffs in the country.

Notably, main purpose of "Procurement and supply of food products" OJSC is to create conditions for improvement of social welfare of population in the region, ensuring the development of farmers, improving the quality of food products and to ensure an effective use of budgetary funds.
