The technical work on a new generation of electronic signature, being developed by the information and computing center of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, is nearing completion, Report informs, citing the center.
Business solutions have already been identified, including design samples. Currently, the possibilities of cooperation with partner companies on the new product are being discussed and the process of integrating the signature into the systems of these institutions continues, the report says.
With the help of the new signature, it will be possible to receive services and products from banks, NBCOs, insurance companies, mobile operators, ASAN login, E-gov, TV and Internet providers, etc.
The next generation signature, which combines face recognition and "public key" technologies, is based on biometric authentication. Testing is carried out in real-time based on facial recognition through the webcam of a mobile device. If the data contained in the identity card belongs to a person, a signing certificate is issued to the user, otherwise, a request is rejected.
The next-generation electronic signature has a number of advantages for both citizens and those who offer the service, including reducing financial costs, ensuring security, preventing the loss of time and documents, and automatic archiving.
Designed to digitize business processes and increase customer loyalty, the next generation signature will also go a long way towards preventing fraud and document fraud.
