Azerbaijan and Turkiye integrating electronic government portals

On September 1, the integration of the e-devlet portal of Turkiye and the e-gov portal of Azerbaijan will be presented in Turkiye, Ulvi Mehdiyev, the chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, told journalists, Report informs.

"Integration is implemented within the cooperation with Turkiye's Digital Transformation Office. It means that when an Azerbaijani citizen goes to Turkiye, if that person is required to provide a document issued by any state institution of Azerbaijan, that person will be able to obtain it from e-devlet. Or vice versa, if a Turkish citizen is required to provide any document in Azerbaijan, that person will be able to obtain it from e-gov," he said.
