Armenia responsible for most hacker attacks in Azerbaijan

Armenia commits the highest number of hacker attacks in Azerbaijan, Analyst of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications Masuma Talibova said at the "Cyber-secure economy: reforms, innovative approaches and solutions" conference in Baku, Report informs.

According to her, during the recent Armenian provocations on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, Armenia committed over 2,000 cyber attacks.

"In 2020, the year of the Second Karabakh war, the number of cyber attacks increased 4.3 times," she said, adding that cyberattacks are hurting the country's economy.

"Despite this, Azerbaijan effectively defends itself and resists cyber attacks," Talibova said.
