American Orbital-ATK interested in cooperation to create a surveillance satellite for Azerbaijan

Abu Dhabi. 25 February. REPORT.AZ/ Experience of the company Orbital-ATK with the operator of Azerbaijan National Space Azerkosmos project on launch of the first artificial telecommunications satellite Azerspace-1 was very productive. Report informs it was said by the Vice President of Orbital-ATK Mohammed Khan in an international exhibition of defense products IDEX-2015 in Abu Dhabi.

Speaking about the project Azerspace-2, its differences from the first project M. Khan noted that currently the company expects a list of demands from Azerbaijan and then start working on the implementation of obligations under the project.

M. Khan also expressed interest in a US company, in cooperation in the project for reconnaissance satellite for Azerbaijan: We are waiting for messages on the beginning of the tender, to participate in it.

Speaking about the prospects of cooperation with Azerbaijan, representative of Orbital-ATK said the company is interested in cooperation to enhance the opportunities of Azerkosmos to a new level:We are absolutely open for cooperation.
