WHO thanks Azerbaijan for fight against COVID

The World Health Organization (WHO) has expressed gratitude to the countries and organizations that are fighting the coronavirus pandemic at the global level, Report informs.

Azerbaijan is among the countries which received gratitude.

WHO has thanked governments, organizations, and individuals who have contributed to the fight against coronavirus.

Along with Azerbaijan, WHO expressed gratitude to several countries, as well as the African Development Bank, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, OPEC, the International Development Fund, the Standard Chartered Bank, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the UN Development Program (UNDP), the United Nations Population Fund, the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and the World Bank.
