WHO rep in Azerbaijan visits Nakhchivan

The delegation headed by the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Azerbaijan, Hande Harmanci, has visited the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

According to Report’s local bureau, the delegation visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in Nakhchivan and laid flowers to it.

Then the guests visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum and got acquainted with the exhibits reflecting the life and state activities of the great leader.

As part of the three-day visit, the WHO delegation will get acquainted with the reforms based on global experience implemented in the healthcare system of the Autonomous Republic in recent months, work aimed at improving the quality of medical services, as well as projects that will be implemented in the near future.

At the same time, in addition to the city of Nakhchivan, the delegation will also visit Ordubad and Sharur regions, where they will get acquainted with the recently created Family Health Centers. Also, the program of the visit of the delegation includes visiting the historical and architectural monuments of Nakhchivan.
