Tayyar Eyvazov: Epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan stable

The epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan remains stable, expert specialist of the Ministry of Health, infectious disease specialist Tayyar Eyvazov told Report.

He noted that statistical data give reason to say that the spread of coronavirus in the country is at a low level: “Although recently there has been an increase in the number of infected people, these cases are not widespread.”

The infectious disease specialist said that the methods of protection against coronavirus and all respiratory viruses are the same: “That is, the golden rules that we learned during the pandemic can protect us. People in risk groups are recommended to protect themselves from influenza and coronavirus with a vaccine.”
