"Until a few days ago, the number of infected people in Azerbaijan was more than 4,000. This tendency lasted for a week or two. As if it was the peak we mentioned before. Now, we observe a gradual decline following the peak situation.
Medical Scientific Committee under the Board of the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB) Akif Gurbanov said in an interview with Real, Report states.
"Undoubtedly, the anti-epidemic measures taken play a great role in this situation. People also follow the required rules and regulations. Due to certain prohibitions, closure of various enterprises, restricting working hours, etc., the number of infections drops every day. Sometimes we even observe a sharp decline," he said.
