"There is a significant drop in the number of coronavirus infections in Azerbaijan. Over the last four weeks of this year, there was a 59% decrease in infections and a 39% decrease in deaths," Yagut Garayeva, head of the Disease Prevention and Control Department of the Medical Territorial Units Management Association (TABIB), told a briefing of the Operations Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
"Again, the most positive results in the country are recorded in Baku and Absheron. Most of them are registered in Khatai and Binagadi districts of Baku. We assess the situation as stable and controllable," she said.
