Number of people vaccinated in Azerbaijan announced

Some 1,534 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

The number of those who got their first jab reached 210 today, while 194 got their second dose of the vaccine. As many as 994 people got immunized with three or more doses of a COVID vaccine. The number of those vaccinated with a booster dose after the positive result has reached 136.

To date, 13,754,921 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan. Of these, 5,352,473 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,852,425 have been double jabbed.

As of today, 3,301,750 people have received a booster dose of coronavirus vaccines in Azerbaijan.

As many as 248,273 people have got the booster dose after recovering from COVID-19.
