Azerbaijan discloses number of people vaccinated against COVID-19

Some 1,522 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

The number of those who got their first jab reached 189 today, while 256 got their second dose of the vaccine. As many as 934 people got immunized with three or more doses of a COVID vaccine. The number of those vaccinated with a booster dose after the positive result has reached 143.

To date, 13,752,122 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan. Of these, 5,352,065 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,852,083 have been double jabbed.

As of today, 3,299,954 people have received a booster dose of coronavirus vaccines in Azerbaijan.

As many as 248,020 people have got the booster dose after recovering from COVID-19.
