Scientific research of Azerbaijani scientist included in world-famous book on coronavirus

The scientific research of an Azerbaijani scientist was included in the world-famous book on the coronavirus, Report informs.

The 8th chapter of the book "The Unequal Costs of COVID-19 on Well-being in Europe" (Human Well-Being Research and Policy Making), which is about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on European countries and is edited by the well-known professors Luis Dalingvote (Sorbonne University, France), Vanessa Bullet (Lorraine University, France), Iside Costantini (Sorbonne University, France) and Paul Gibbs (Middlesex University, England), is dedicated to scientific research entitled "Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the well-being of children with disabilities and their parents in Azerbaijan" of Director of the Department of Organization of Social Work of Azerbaijan University, Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy Tunzale Verdiyeva, teacher of the department Aygun Muradli, teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages Nargiz Huseynova.

In the study, the situation of children with disabilities during the pandemic, the impact and analysis on children with disabilities and their parents, the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding persons with disabilities in the fight against the pandemic, the activities of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Sustainable and Operative Social Security Agency (DOST), the Social Services Agency, a number of non-governmental organizations operating in the country - the United Aid for Azerbaijan (UAFA), the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the Joint and Healthy Public Union and similar organizations during this period, as well as specialists, parents interview and reviews were reflected.
