Pfizer vaccine less than 60% effective in children

Two doses of the Pfizer and BioNTech coronavirus vaccine were 57% effective for children aged 2 to 4 years, and 50% effective for babies aged 6 months to 2 years old, Report informs via foreign media.
The company previously reported that two doses of Pfizer and BioNTech's coronavirus vaccine for children aged 2 to 5 were less effective than expected. Companies are testing a third dose of the drug.
Pfizer and BioNTech have applied for US emergency approval of a coronavirus vaccine for children under five years of age.
