Vaccines against many types of cancer will be introduced in the near future, Doctor of Medical Sciences at the University of Cologne Nuran Abdullayev told Report.
According to him, in some countries, the situation with the coronavirus has reached an endemic stage:
"Infections are close to zero. Such a decrease was due to the short-term development of COVID-19 vaccines. The short-term development of vaccines with this technology means that in the near future, there will be vaccinations against many types of cancer. For example, based on risk factors or genetic changes in someone's family, it can be said that the probability of a 30-year-old becoming infected with a specific type of cancer before the age of 60 will be expressed as a percentage, and if the cancer vaccine is injected annually, the risk of contracting cancer could be significantly reduced as a percentage."
