Number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 announced

Some 2,123 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

The number of those who got their first jab reached 326 people today, while 181 people got their second dose of the vaccine. As many as 1,438 people got immunized with three or more doses of a COVID vaccine. The number of booster doses after recovery was 178.

To date, 13,728,289 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan. Of these, 5,348,519 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,849,400 have been double jabbed.

As of today, 3,284,160 people have received a booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Azerbaijan.

As many as 246,210 people have got the booster dose after recovering from COVID-19.
