Number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 announced

Some 1,917 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

The number of those who got their first jab reached 326 people today, while 199 people got their second dose of the vaccine. As many as 1,255 people got immunized with three or more doses of a COVID vaccine. The number of booster doses after recovery was 137.

To date, 13,730,269 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan. Of these, 5,348,845 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,849,599 have been double jabbed.

As of today, 3,285,415 people have received a booster dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Azerbaijan.

As many as 246,347 people have got the booster dose after recovering from COVID-19.
