Azerbaijan has witnessed a significant decrease in the number of measles infections, according to Afag Alieva, Deputy Director of the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology under the Ministry of Health.
Responding to a request from Report, Alieva stated that only a few cases of measles have been registered recently. "This also indicates that the source of the infection still exists. For this reason, children who have not been vaccinated must be immunized," she emphasized.
Aliyeva assured that there are sufficient measles vaccines available in the country to meet the population's needs.
