Japan has proposed to lower blood pressure with antihypertensive exercises, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
This proposal was put forward by Japanese pharmacist Masatoshi Kato.
“Put your palms together in front of your chest and pinch them. After ten seconds, relax your hands. This exercise is especially recommended because it stimulates the pectoral muscles that are located next to the heart,” the specialist said in an interview with the publication.
He noted that such exercises exist for different muscle groups, and they can be done several times a day.
“The exercise can be done while sitting, that is, while working, so be sure to try it,” the pharmacist added.
