Health Ministry granted additional responsibilities

On June 2, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the amendment to the "Regulations on the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan," Report says.
According to the decree, the responsibilities of the Ministry of Health have been increased.
Thus, according to the appendix to the document, the Ministry of Health will carry out the accreditation of other medical institutions, except for ones subordinated to the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB).
The decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on June 2 amended the "Charter of the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance." According to the amendment, the Agency will conduct accreditation of medical institutions under TABIB.
