Global COVID tally passes 490 million

The number of coronavirus cases has exceeded 490.67 million worldwide, Report informs, citing Johns Hopkins University.
Since early 2020, over 6.15 million people have died from COVID-related health complications.
The United States, India and Brazil retain leading positions for the total number of registered cases.
