Azerbaijan has enough vaccine against measles, Afag Aliyeva, Deputy Director of the Republican Hygiene and Epidemiology Center of the Ministry of Health, said, Report informs.
According to her, measles vaccines in public or private healthcare institutions are the same, but the producing countries are different: "Vaccines brought to Azerbaijan are manufactured in India. I also call out to parents that all the vaccines in all medical institutions are the same. These are also safe and of good quality. One dose of vaccine is not enough, the second dose must be injected."
Aliyeva stressed that most districts recorded measles cases: "Although the rate of infection has decreased during this month, the cases are still observed. This is also related to the increase in the vaccination rate."
