Cardiologist: Patients with heart conditions need special treatment for COVID

People with serious heart conditions are more severely affected by COVID, specialist of the Azerbaijani Healthcare Ministry, associate professor, invasive cardiologist Galib Imanov said, Report informs.

He said that the simultaneous use of drugs for the treatment of the virus and medications prescribed for people with heart conditions is dangerous: “For this reason, COVID patients with heart disease need to consult a doctor to choose the correct method of treatment.”
