Can coronavirus spread from Iran to Azerbaijan? - OFFICIAL STATEMENT

"If the coronavirus in Iran becomes an epidemic like in China, then the situation could be taken under serious control. Of course, the situation is already under control in the country. However, there is no possibility of coronavirus transmission from Iran to Azerbaijan," Chief infection diseases specialist of the Ministry of Health Jalal Isayev said.
According to him, Azerbaijan has strengthened preventive measures against the virus. All border crossings remain under strict control.
The death toll from coronavirus in China has reached 2,236.
