The newly created website randevu.its.gov.az today starts to accept applications from those wishing to get vaccinated against coronavirus, Report informs.
The system is designed for citizens aged 65 and over and those whose COVID-19 test results have not been positive for the past year.
Thus, considering the queue of age groups, starting from February 5, citizens can enter the website, make an appointment and choose the nearest medical center to be vaccinated.
After registration, citizens will be informed via SMS and will be able to get the first dose of the vaccine. Every registered citizen over the age of 65 will be invited for vaccination via SMS.
Thus, starting from February 8, those belonging this age group will be vaccinated. There are about 700,000 citizens in this category in the country.
Although the date of the second dose and other necessary information is reflected in the Information Form provided to citizens at the medical center, the date of the second dose will be provided via SMS.
It is possible to apply for vaccination only by pre-registering at randevu.its.gov.az, and the second dose will be given at the same center.
