Azerbaijan's active COVID case count keeps decreasing

Azerbaijan has recorded 2,372 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 4,211 people recovered from the infection, and 34 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 457,416 cases of infection, 405,511 recoveries, and 6,065 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 45,840 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 4,639,460 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 16,215 today.
