Azerbaijan reveals weekly statistics on new coronavirus cases

Azerbaijan recorded 15 new coronavirus cases over the past week (July 31-August 6), the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Seventeen people infected with COVID-19 recovered, and 3 patients died.

Overall, the country has reported 832,036 cases of infection, 821,731 recoveries, and 10,293 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 12 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past week, 2,517 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,663,893 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.
