Azerbaijan reports second coronavirus-related death

Six new cases of COVID-19 infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan.

Report informs, citing the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, that one of the infected, a citizen of Azerbaijan, applied for medical aid due to fever and difficulty breathing. The patient, who had diabetes and coronary heart disease, tested positive for coronavirus. Despite the doctor's efforts, the man's condition deteriorated, and he died on the day of hospitalization, taking the coronavirus-related death toll in the country to two. His family members and other contacts have been put in quarantine.

Azerbaijan's designated hospitals currently accommodate 81 coronavirus patients. Three of them are in critical condition. The state of five of them is medium severe, while the rest are in stable condition. Their treatment continues.
