Azerbaijan reports 33 new COVID-19 cases, 62 recoveries

Another 33 people were infected with coronavirus, 6 people recovered in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Operation Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the Headquarters, 3 people died.

Thus, the coronavirus cases in Azerbaijan have reached 1,373. Of this, 590 have recovered, 18 people have died, 765 people are being treated in specialized hospitals. 21 of them are in critical condition, 30 in moderate condition, and the rest are assessed as stable.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 210 countries and territories since then.

To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 2,275,705 globally, resulting in more than 582,362 recoveries and over 156,101 deaths.

On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
