Azerbaijan launches second phase of vaccination

The second stage of coronavirus vaccination is underway in Azerbaijan, Report states, referring to the Compulsory Medical Insurance Agency.

A list of people to be vaccinated includes:

- Those aged 50 and more with at least one chronic illness

- People with chronic diseases such as respiratory diseases, hemodialysis, diabetes, obesity

- Employees in the education and social sector, permanent residents of social institutions,

- Permanent residents of social enterprises, ASAN Service and DOST centers, public transport sector, telecommunications operators and providers, and employees in direct contact with the population in the postal and the banking sector,

- Those working in high-risk conditions - employees in vital areas for social activities and significantly higher risk areas - national and regional security, justice, finance, and more.
