Azerbaijan creating phytosanitary risk management system

A phytosanitary risk management system in the field of plant health is being created in Azerbaijan, Chairperson of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency Goshgar Tahmazli said at the Plant Health Forum: Towards a Green World in Baku, Report informs.
He noted that the new bill “On Plant Health” was prepared with the participation of international experts and sent for approval to other institutions: “The new bill implies a number of innovations regarding the organization of plant protection, the introduction of a phytosanitary quarantine regime, the use of plant protection products and agrochemicals.”
