Azerbaijan confirms 56 new COVID-19 cases

Azerbaijan recorded 56 new coronavirus cases and one death over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 85 people recovered from the infection.

Overall, the country has reported 830,423 cases of infection, 819,755 recoveries, and 10,198 deaths. At present, 470 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past day, 1,463 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,570,522 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.

At the same time, 204 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today. Thus, the total number of vaccinated people reached 13,957,633.
