Azerbaijan confirms 547 new COVID-19 cases

547 people have contracted COVID-19, while 291 others recovered in Azerbaijan, Yagut Garayeva, head of the department for disease control and prevention of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), told a briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers. Seven people, who tested positive for the virus, have died.
Since June 21, the special quarantine regime has been tightened in Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Masally, Jalilabad, and the Absheron region. Report informs, Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a relevant decision on June 19.
