Azerbaijan confirms 24 new COVID-19 cases, 2 deaths

Azerbaijan recorded 24 new coronavirus cases and 2 deaths over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 81 people recovered from the infection.

Overall, the country has reported 831,065 cases of infection, 820,480 recoveries, and 10,222 deaths. At present, 363 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past day, 319 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 7,581,147 tests have been performed since the start of the pandemic.

At the same time, 8 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today. Thus, the total number of vaccinated people reached 13,958,962.
