Azerbaijan confirms 1,736 new COVID-19 cases, 12 deaths

Azerbaijan has confirmed 1,736 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 435 people recovered from the infection, and 12 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 354,662 cases of infection, 335,771 recoveries, and 5,084 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 13,807 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 4,133,796 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 10,081 today.
