Azerbaijan begins exporting edible eggs to Russia

Azerbaijan supplied the first batch of edible eggs to the Russian Federation in the amount of 36 tons (612,000 pieces), Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Food Security Agency (AFSA).

The first batch of eggs was exported to Russia through the Yarag-Gazmalar checkpoint under an agreement previously reached between the two countries.

An agreement on the supply of edible eggs to Russian markets was reached last month following a meeting between AFSA Chairman Goshgar Tahmazli and the head of Rosselkhoznadzor, Sergey Dankvert in Azerbaijan.
