Azerbaijan announces number of vaccinated people

A total of 8,471 vaccine shots were made against coronavirus in Azerbaijan on January 21, Report informs, citing the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

The number of people who got their first jab was 722 today, while 773 people got their second dose of the vaccine. Some 26,976 people got immunized with the third (booster) dose of a COVID vaccine.

To date, 11,765,037 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the people in Azerbaijan. Of this, 5,209,461 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,724,359 got both doses.

As of today, 1,831,217 people have received a booster dose of coronavirus vaccines in Azerbaijan.
