10 children, 12 adults injured in Turkiye earthquake brought to Azerbaijan for treatment

On February 10, 10 children and 12 adults, a total of 6 families suffering from the devastating earthquake in Turkiye, were hospitalized in Azerbaijan, Aynura Zeynalova, sector head of the Health Organization Department of the Ministry of Health, told journalists, Report informs.

According to him, out of 10 children, 6 are boys and 4 are girls: “The youngest is 8 days old, the oldest is 14 years old. The persons admitted to the hospital were immediately placed in the wards allocated for them, comprehensive laboratory-instrumental examinations are being performed and today the examinations are about to end.”

The ministry official noted that after the examinations, the children will be sent to the shelter under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population together with their parents.
