In the near future, the EU plans to conduct joint trainings with the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan on issues of ensuring favorable adaptation and establishing a normal life for migrants in the country, dealing with crisis situations in this matter, and others, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation Zoltan Szalai said at the event "Migration in Azerbaijan: equality, diversity and inclusiveness".
According to him, the EU is closely cooperating with the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan, the Foreign Ministry, and the country's border service.
Szalai stressed that there are different languages and cultures in the EU - migration is part of the pan-European process.
Today, more than 7 million Ukrainians have become refugees as a result of Russia's military aggression, he said, adding that the EU shows full solidarity with Ukraine and its people, due to which it provides humanitarian and political support to the country.
