Zokirzoda: Tajikistan attaches great importance to cooperation within APA

Tajikistan attaches great importance to cooperation within the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan, Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda, said during the 14th plenary session of the APA in Baku, Report informs.

“Tajikistan will continue to cooperate with the APA member countries for the sustainable development of Asia. For this, I believe, we must develop joint projects in the transport and logistics sector. It is also necessary to pay great attention to energy cooperation,” he noted.

He also congratulated Azerbaijan on the successful elections on February 7 and President Ilham Aliyev on his re-election to this post.
