Yashar Aliyev: 'Azerbaijan is concerned about what is happening in Ukraine'

"The crisis should be resolved within the norms and principles of international law, including respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the inviolability of borders," Yashar Aliyev, the Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the UN, said at the 11th emergency special session of the General Assembly, Report informs.
He expressed that, along with other member states, Azerbaijan is deeply concerned about what is happening in Ukraine. The diplomat also spoke about the humanitarian assistance the Republic of Azerbaijan provided: "Azerbaijan takes consistent steps within its national capabilities to help the people of Ukraine eliminate severe humanitarian problems and continuously provides humanitarian assistance to Ukraine."
