Vice president of Türkiye meets with Azerbaijani veterans

The Vice President of Türkiye, Cevdet Yilmaz, met with Azerbaijani veterans who are on a visit to this country, said the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Türkiye, Report informs.

It was noted that a group of veterans of the Patriotic War visiting Türkiye at the invitation of the Turkish War Veterans Association and the organization of the Discharged Military Youth Enlightenment Public Union was received by Turkish Vice President Yılmaz.

At the meeting, which was also attended by the employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy, the vice president of Türkiye greeted the Azerbaijani veterans and expressed his pleasure to meet them. Yilmaz touched upon the heroism demonstrated by the veterans in the Patriotic War and emphasized that their bravery made not only Azerbaijan but also Türkiye proud.

The veterans thanked brotherly Türkiye for the attention and care shown to them.
